- Since
1997, researches, strategizes, and writes outstanding
compensations studies, individual career advice, resumes,
marketing materials, and web sites for HQ Search, Inc.’s
clientele, who are the individuals and hiring authorities
for global financial services firms: asset/money management
companies; banks, consulting firms; corporations; credit
rating services, pension funds; real estate developers;
trading institutions/hedge funds; and private equity/venture
capital firms.
- As
Hedge Funds Care’s Midwest Committee of Hearts
member in charge of individual ticket sales and database
development, created and issued the internal materials
to motivate team to raise almost $900,000 with over
400 attending their 2008 “Open Your Heart to the
Children” gala that was recognized by Crain’s
as a “Top 25 Chicago 2008 Event”.
- For
numerous national and local events, wrote marketing
materials, speeches, presentations, and articles for
the CFA Society of Chicago, The University of Chicago’s

- Written
many articles on the job search process, succession
planning, methods to enhance career growth, and financial
topics as a freelance journalist published in Financial
Engineering News, MFA Reporter, and Financial
History; a book chapter in Hedge Fund and Investment Management published by Elsevier
in December 2005; a book, The Land of Lemons
and Nuts, published in December 2008; and another
book, Career Asset Management: The C.A.S.H.
Model™ Approach, in publication stage
with a training and development firm interested in acquiring
the franchise rights to teaching the model.
- Received
a MBA in Finance, Analytic Finance, and Econometrics
& Statistics from the University of Chicago and
a BA in Business Administration and Marketing from North
Central College, where also wrote the curriculum, then
taught undergraduate classes in corporate finance.
